Survivors play in third person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. Killers play in first person and focus on their prey. In each encounter, the Survivors' goal is to escape the field without being caught by the Killer (easier said than done), especially when the environment changes every game.

But... Where Am I?: Each level is randomly generated, so you never know what to expect. The presence of random spawn points means that you will never feel truly safe as the environment and its dangers change with each playthrough.
