This colorful (but dark) score features the Maestro's signature scat vocal harmonies, beautiful melodies, and the obligatory sinister themes - perfect music for this wonderfully stylized giallo masterpiece.
The first in Argento's "animal trilogy" series, the music of THE BIRD WITH THE CRYSTAL PLUMAGE is a lovely mix of string bossa and more tense, scattered instrumental passages, as Morricone does so well.
