Junya Mizumoto, a university student, is grieving the loss of his brother following a tragic accident a year ago, when he meets a mysterious girl who tells him, before disappearing, that he was the one who should have died .
Carrying the weight of these terrifying words alongside memories of his brother, Junya finds himself taking on an unexpected project with his childhood friend, Chihaya Hojo. Hojo Mansion, a traditional Japanese house, needs renovation and this is the first big job Junya undertakes. But it’s a job he can’t undertake alone.
