Psycho Dream Collector's Edition - Super Nintendo PAL - Retro-bit Publishing

All about Psycho Dream Collector’s Edition - Super Nintendo PAL-EU Cartridge!

Winter 1992. To save her, two Diamond Dogs special agents, Ryō Shijima and Maria Tobari, must infiltrate the mind of a young girl who has become a "sinker," trapped in her mind within the virtual world of a "D Movie."

What horrors will you encounter in the depths of her psyche? In this twisted world blending fantasy and madness, you must venture through six levels and help her escape this dream before her physical body dies, or risk dying with her!

In the 1980s, a new form of entertainment called "D Movie" began to spread, allowing people to immerse themselves in a virtual world and often attracting socially alienated youths seeking refuge.

Some people remained trapped in this world, unable to free themselves, a situation leading to the atrophy of their bodies and their death. To combat these cases called "sinkers," the Japanese Public Safety Commission created Public Security Division 4 in 1984, also known as the "Diamond Dogs." Special agents would enter the virtual world to rescue these lost minds.

In 1992, a teenager named Yūki Sayaka plunges into a D Movie and three days pass before she is discovered. Two debuggers, Ryō Shijima and Maria Tobari, are sent to save her mind before she dies.

Psycho Dream remained a title exclusively available in Japan for almost thirty years, until it was added to the Nintendo Classics SNES digital catalog in February 2021.

This Retro-bit edition contains a brand new localization by Nathan Deren and a fully translated instruction manual.
