A digital epidemic that killed thousands of people who chose to augment their minds and bodies. Then the war broke out, and the West and the East were decimated. With no one left in power, corporations took control to forge their own corrupt empires.

• Become a neural investigator: You play as Daniel Lazarski, an elite investigator of the future portrayed by the late cyberpunk icon, Rutger Hauer. As an Observer, you hack into suspects' minds to extract clues and evidence. Their feelings, thoughts, and memories will be used to solve the case.
• Devour their dreams: Using a device called the Dream Eater, you hack into the minds of the dead to relive their final moments and explore their fears and obsessions. Dive into these twisted neuro-labyrinths and look for clues that will help you find the elusive killer. But beware: the further you go, the more you risk losing your sanity.
• Discover the atmosphere of the year 2084: Enter a world ravaged by war and a digital epidemic, where life is worth little and hope is scarce. Where most people would do anything to escape their sad existence. Virtual realities, psychotropic drugs, neural implants... pick your poison and forget it all. But remember that no matter where you are, you can never escape an Observer.
• System Redux: Veteran Observers can dive deeper into this dystopian reality with three new cases to solve. "Errant Signal," "Her Fearful Symmetry," and "It Runs in the Family" add even more depth to the game's story while exploring thought-provoking themes about a near-future.
