Description
DEADLY DUELS, PRECISE STRIKES, HONOR ON THE LINE!
Discover arguably the most accomplished and intense installment of SNK's legendary weapon-based fighting game series with Samurai Shodown V Special.
Designed as an enhanced and rebalanced version of Samurai Shodown V, this title offers deeper mechanics, an expanded character roster, and reinforced competitive gameplay, making it one of the most respected titles in the franchise.
Set in the late 18th century, warriors from around the world clash in deadly duels where precision, timing, and psychological warfare matter more than simply frantically mashing buttons.
Every strike counts. The series' characteristic emphasis on powerful blows and strategic spacing returns, alongside advanced mechanics such as Overkill Moves, sword gauge management, and refined combat balance for the entire roster.
With a diverse selection of fan-favorite fighters and formidable bosses, Samurai Shodown V Special combines spectacular presentation, fluid animations, and high-stakes gameplay for a truly authentic NEOGEO experience.
Game cartridge compatible with NEOGEO AES+ and NEOGEO AES consoles.
