Description
A Chiptune Masterpiece on a Triple Collector's Vinyl
The "old school" spirit of Mina the Hollower is ever-present in its exceptional original soundtrack. Composers Jake Kaufman and Yuzo Koshiro have concocted a veritable chiptune feast using the original Game Boy sound chip, enhanced with a touch of the Konami (MSX) audio cartridge to complete the experience.
Both unsettling and comforting, Mina's music creates the perfect atmosphere for her brilliantly staged gothic universe. iam8bit partners with the Yacht Club Games team to bring this very special edition to life: a triple LP pressed on magnificent, richly nuanced "Velvet Purple Splatter" vinyl.
- Collector's 3D Packaging: The cover, illustrated by Nimit Malavia, is full of 3D details. Special Mina-themed 3D glasses (which actually work with the illustration!) are included in the box set.
- Zootrope Labels: The center labels feature a zootrope-inspired design showing Mina in action, paying homage to pixel art and animation.
- Limited Edition: A truly unique piece that stands as an essential work for video game music enthusiasts.
