An epic RPG adventure in a world at war
The mining valley of Khorinis. The glorious days of the once productive mines of this small coastal region were long gone. Surrounded by an impenetrable magical barrier, the slaves lived a miserable existence in this seemingly natural prison.
One brave man managed to break free from his chains. Ready for anything, he set out to hunt evil and destroy the magical barrier forever. No one in Khorinis was prepared for this. For too long, they had lived under the illusion of security provided by the seemingly indestructible magic dome. The small militia garrison could not gather enough forces to contain the assault.
After many bloody clashes, many captives managed to escape and find refuge in the woods and rugged mountains of the surrounding countryside.
The constant increase in raids near the ramparts and the growing audacity of the bandits seemed to paralyze the entire city. The future of Khorinis is uncertain. Due to declining agricultural production, food deliveries are increasingly disrupted and stocks are running low.
The militia's strength stops at the city gates. Beyond the ramparts, no one is safe from armed bandit attacks. It's war in Khorinis. A civil war.
But there is also an unforeseen event. Evil is not dead and resurfaces. This time, it is determined to deliver the fatal blow to humanity, and no one can stop it.
