Discover the Far Cry 6 soundtrack on vinyl!

Pressed on black discs, with two LPs covering the original score and one featuring in-world music tracks. The 48 specially mastered tracks will be pressed on heavyweight vinyl, which will be presented in inner sleeves that slide into a silver laminated outer sleeve. The cover art was created by the Ubisoft Toronto team.

Lead composer Pedro Bromfman’s credits include three seasons of Netflix’s Narcos, Need For Speed: Heat, and Max Payne 3. Having grown up studying the beautiful, soulful music of the Caribbean and Latin America, he brought his particular background in Latin string instruments to Far Cry 6’s score. Bromfman carefully layers Spanish guitars, Bolivian ronrocos, and other instruments with percussive elements and a dark, oppressive atmosphere, creating music that evokes a nuanced mix of sadness, anger, and hope—contrasting the menace of El Presidente with the spirit of the guerrillas.

The vinyl box set includes a selection of in-game radio tracks that serve to immerse the player in Yara’s dynamic setting. This body of in-world music is led by two exceptional composers: Cuban-Canadian jazz master Hilario Duran created faithful pieces of Afro-Caribbean street ensembles, while composer-producer Ariel Contreras-Esquivel recorded a real military orchestra for his fictional national anthem “Himno Nacional Yarano” and other militaristic marches.

The Far Cry 6 music team made it a priority to faithfully represent the Latino spirit and showcase authentic, off-the-beaten-path Latin American and Afro-Latin artists. Venezuelan rapper Gabylonia (backed by Peruvian producer Rilabeats) contributed “Camino Revolucionario” and “Carta al Tirano,” the latter of which was performed during the game’s chaotic hip-hop show Máximas Matanzas. Brooklyn-born Puerto Rican Nitty Scott rules the roost with the hip-hop track “Pelo”; Qbanoamerikano Pico pays homage to the Buena Vista Social Club with “Cuba Linda”; Cuban singer Diana Fuentes and rapper El Micha perform the pop number “Canción Bonita”; and Cuban reggaeton star El Chacal parties it up with “Talento Y Dinero.”

Other tracks on the third vinyl include specially recorded covers of the alternate history classics "Mambo Italiano" ("Mambo Yarano"), the African-American folk song "Sea Lion Woman" ("See-Line Woman") and the Italian protest song "Bella Ciao" ("El Bella Ciao"). ("El Bella Ciao de Libertad").
