For as long as you and your people can remember, your homeland of Mercia has been under the tyrannical rule of Etheldre, a despotic sorceress who resides in a seemingly impenetrable tower in the distant wastelands of the North. Every 7 years, she sends her armies south to select the inhabitants of each canton to be subjected to a life of slavery, never to be seen again.
A call goes out to champions across the land to put an end to the witch's reign. An elf, a wizard, and a marauder answer the call. Join this band of heroes in their quest to defeat the Evil of the Land and defeat Etheldred once and for all!
