Over time, you will unlock new music, tips, and stylish locations imbued with the faded American suburbia of the 1990s.

Stephanie "Watts" Watson, an aspiring bassist, has bounced from audition to audition without ever finding music that truly resonated with her, that is, until she discovered the magic of funk.

Caught in the groove, she recruits a group of hometown fans to face off against the art school darlings of La Tormenta at the Battle of the Bands.

Each character in your band moves around the map in different ways, encountering unique solutions and obstacles. Moving a character consumes a turn and a part of the timeline, establishing interactions with other characters and enemies at different times. Rewinding a turn cancels your movement, allowing you to find improved solutions and new ways to solve problems.

Manipulate each character separately, rewind or fast-forward along the timeline in the process to reach their current point in time. Changes in time reflect on each character's past and present actions and progress, creating certain possibilities while eliminating others.

Each character has their own super move, limited in resources, that can be triggered under certain conditions. Sneak through tight spaces with your bassist, glide past guards with your keytar player, break through walls with your drummer, or take out enemies with your powerful super sax. The strategic use of your super moves increases the number of solutions to each puzzle and is key to achieving a maximum score.

Four music-based resource metrics govern how and when you can move and interact with objects in the levels. These can completely block progression if used ineffectively and create incredible musical chains and high scores when tuned with finesse.
