You are the Commander. The squad is your weapon.
Infiltrate vast, open levels and lead your squad as one to eliminate the threats that lurk within. Proceed with caution, as the stakes are high: every death is permanent, and your enemies will adapt their tactics to hunt you down. Fight your way to survival: create shortcuts, secure areas to catch your breath, seal doors behind you, and place motion sensors in a persistent world where your actions permanently impact the levels.
Customize your squad with a selection of complementary classes. Upgrade and specialize your soldiers with an arsenal of weapons, skills, and abilities to successfully complete high-risk missions. Repair your base of operations and develop new technologies to further enhance your strike team and give them a better chance of survival.
But when Hugo's powers resurface, death and destruction descend in a devastating deluge of rats. Forced to flee, they place their hopes in an enigmatic island that may hold the key to Hugo's salvation.
Manage your resources carefully and calculate the risks to outwit the most terrifying creature humanity has ever faced. Will you stop the invasion before it's too late?
