An epic adventure in an original fantasy world

Created with passion by the talented team that redefined the side-scrolling beat 'em up genre, Absolum offers breathtaking combat with modern roguelite elements, in an immersive adventure in the heart of the original world of Talamh reminiscent of old-school arcade games.

Talamh was ravaged by a magical cataclysm caused by ambitious mages, sparking distrust of magic among ordinary people. Taking advantage of this panic, the Sun King Azra enslaved the mages through his Crimson Order and installed loyal princes to rule the conquered kingdoms.

As Azra's forces claim ever more land, the great enchantress Uchawi and a small group of rebels emerge from the shadows, wielding forbidden magic to oppose Azra's oppressive regime and challenge her magical omnipotence.

Discover Talamh's exclusive heroes, each possessing a unique fighting style.

Emerging from the shadows of Yeldrim, Galandra is a true force of nature, unstoppable. She wields her gigantic sword with deadly precision and possesses destructive necromantic powers. Her apparent calm barely conceals the furious rage that boils within her.

Karl is the last of Talamh's free dwarves. Armed with an ancient blunderbuss and his bare fists, he excels in close combat and explosive tactics. His shortcomings at mid-range are compensated by his brute strength and quick wit, making him a valuable ally in the rebellion against Azra's oppression.

In their quest to overthrow the Sun King Azra, they will be joined by two mysterious heroes: Brome, a gifted mage whose mission is to preserve the future of his people, and the enigmatic Cider, a skirmish specialist in search of answers among the scattered fragments of his soul.

Absolum combines the masterful beat 'em up gameplay of Dotemu and Guard Crush with the stunning animations and graphics of Supamonks. With its frenetic action and endless replayability, Absolum will challenge you with multiple paths to explore and unpredictable encounters, offering a fresh experience every time you play.

Eliminate Azra's elite guards by alternating between rapid combos and spells, unleashing devastating yet strategic attacks. Use magical counters and rare items to turn the tide of battle, and discover a combat system that demands skill and coordination, pushing you to develop new strategies with each attempt to wreak havoc on the enemy ranks.

Lead the revolt against Azra's regime as a lone hero, or team up with a friend in single-player or co-op mode. Combine your elemental powers and synchronize your attacks to unleash incredible combos!

The world of Talamh is complex and teeming with secrets, stories, and betrayals. From the majestic mines of Grandery to the verdant forests of Jaroba, every step of your odyssey will be accompanied by the fantastic original score from composer Gareth Coker (Ori, Halo Infinite, Prince of Persia), in collaboration with Yuka Kitamura (Dark Souls, Elden Ring), Mick Gordon (Doom Eternal, Atomic Heart), and many more!
