An epic adventure in an original fantasy world

Passionately created by the talented team that redefined the side-scrolling beat 'em up genre, Absolum delivers breathtaking combat with modern roguelite elements, in an immersive adventure set in the original world of Talamh reminiscent of old-school arcade games.

Talamh was ravaged by a magical cataclysm caused by ambitious mages, creating distrust of magic among ordinary people. The Sun King Azra, taking advantage of this panic, enslaved the mages through his Crimson Order and placed loyal princes to rule the conquered kingdoms.

As Azra's forces claim ever more land, the great enchantress Uchawi and a small band of rebels emerge from the shadows, wielding forbidden magic to oppose Azra's oppressive regime and challenge his magical might.

Discover the excluded heroes of Talamh, each with a unique fighting style.

Emerging from the shadows of Yeldrim, Galandra is an unstoppable force of nature. She swings her gigantic sword with deadly precision and wields destructive necromantic powers. Her outward calm barely conceals the furious rage boiling within her.

Karl is the last of Talamh's free dwarves. Armed with an ancient blunderbuss and his fists, he excels at close-quarters combat and explosive tactics. What he lacks at medium range, he makes up for with his brute strength and quick thinking, making him a worthy ally in the revolt against Azra's oppression.

In their quest to overthrow the Sun King Azra, they will be joined by two mysterious heroes: Brome, a gifted mage whose mission is to preserve the future of his people, and the enigmatic Cider, a skirmish specialist searching for answers among the scattered fragments of his soul.

Absolum combines the mastery of Dotemu and Guard Crush's beat 'em up gameplay with Supamonks' stunning animations and graphics. With frenetic action and endless replayability, Absolum will challenge you with multiple paths to explore and unpredictable encounters, offering a new experience every time you play.

Take down Azra's elite guards with quick combos and spells, unleashing devastating and strategic attacks. Use magical counters and rare items to turn the tide, and discover a combat system requiring skill and coordination that will force you to develop new strategies with each attempt to wreak havoc on the enemy ranks.

Lead the revolt against Azra's regime as a lone hero, or team up with a friend by your side or in co-op. Combine your elemental powers and synchronize your attacks to perform incredible combos!

The world of Talamh is complex and full of secrets, stories, and betrayals. From the majestic mines of Grandery to the verdant forests of Jaroba, every step of your odyssey will be accompanied by the fantastic soundtrack by composer Gareth Coker (Ori, Halo Infinite, Prince of Persia), in collaboration with Yuka Kitamura (Dark Souls, Elden Ring), Mick Gordon (Doom Eternal, Atomic Heart), and many more!
