Yonder takes place on the beautiful, vibrant island of Gemea. A lush frontier with 8 distinct environments ranging from sunny, tropical beaches to icy, snowy peaks. Each location has its own unique flora and fauna, as well as changing seasons and a day-night cycle. But Gemea isn’t as perfect as it seems. The mysterious Murk has buried the land, and its inhabitants are desperate.
As the hero of Gemea, you must seek out Sprites, wacky creatures that are hidden away. Use their power to eliminate the Murk and restore the beauty of nature. As you explore Gemea, you can barter, discover unique materials that will allow you to craft items, befriend the adorable wildlife, and even create your own working farm.
By contributing to the island's development with skills such as farming, crafting, cooking, fishing, and brewing, relationships can be built with the locals, who offer everything from resources to a new farm as a reward.
