I Hate This Place is an isometric survival horror game with a deep crafting system, set in a cursed location teeming with unspeakable nightmares and terrifying creatures lurking in the shadows. To survive, you'll need to find resources, build, be stealthy, and fight.

Search every nook and cranny of Rutherford Ranch to survive. Haunted forests, a ghost town, infested bunkers... Explore a world teeming with danger to gather resources, craft items, upgrade your camp, and rebuild outposts to create a place to hide.

The world changes thanks to the dynamic day-night cycle. Use the daytime to explore, gather supplies, craft what you need, and prepare for the approaching threat. When night falls, that's when the real nightmares come out to play with you. They are more numerous, stronger, and more aggressive than ever. The environment is much harder to navigate by the light of your flashlight alone. Sometimes, it's best to find shelter and hunker down until morning.

Here, stealth and combat go hand in hand, as many of Rutherford Ranch's unnatural creatures hunt you solely by sound. Often, brute force means an untimely death. Use sound to your advantage to distract them or lead them straight into the deadly trap you've set.

Adapted from the acclaimed comic book series created by Kyle Starks and Artyom Topilin, I Hate This Place is a visual feast with its bold colors and retro comic book style reminiscent of the 80s. A unique blend of horror and dark humor with just the right dose of Grand Guignol and gore, it is both unsettling in its atmosphere and charming in its style.
